church. All the elementary age students picked
different skills that they wanted to learn on
Wednesday nights during our church services
throughout the summer months. They
could choose between baking, woodworking, spanish,
sports skills, journalism, photography, sign
language, puppets, dance, and acting. Jake ended
up in Sign Language. He learned to sign the alphabet,
his numbers and the song "Everlasting God". At
the end of the summer, they put on the Talent Show
so the kids can perform and share what they learned.
