Highlights: More Summer Fun

Jake turned 12 this summer!
I can't believe he is almost a
teenager!  He is growing up so
much and I am so proud of the
boy that he is.

This litle guy turned 1! HKeaton is my best
friend's son, and he had the cutest "camping"
themed birthday party.

We had another Jennie Finch Camp
in Georgia

These girls were absolutely adorable!

Jake went to Jr. High Camp for a week.
They camped out by the beach.
He decided to get baptized while
they were there.  My heart is so
happy to see how He wants to
follow Jesus!

I spoke at a sports camp in Redlands.

We spent some days at the beach
enjoying our beautiful weather!

Drew took swim lessons for the
first time to follow his cousin, Micah.
He loved it and can't wait to do it again.

We continue to feed the homeless every
other week.  We have had a big group coming.
We continue to share God's Word and then
feed them a good meal and sit and
talk and pray with them.

I commentated for the pro games
this summer.  I love EVERY
opportunity I get to be a part
of this great sport of softball.

4th of July 2013

We went to our church 4th of July service
that was held outside this year.
And we spent the day swimming
with family and the evening
down at my sister's house
watching fireworks.

Well, they didn't swim the entire day.
They found a little time to play
on their video games.  This is
a sign of the times. . .

Niagra Falls

You cannot be in upstate New York and not visit Niagra Falls! At least that is the motto we had. So Claudia, Chloe's mom, graciously drove us to view this amazing tourist attraction on the border. It did not dissapoint our expectations! It had rained almost the entire two hours of our drive. I prayed and prayed asking God to make it be clear so we could see the falls, and guess what? My prayers were answered!!! We only had a short time there, but we saw the Falls for the first time. Here are some pictures from our time.

Chloe's Wedding in New York

My best friend, Kristi, and I took
a trip to upstate New York to
see Chloe, my goddaugther, get
married to the love of her life.

She made such a beautiful bride.

I am so happy for her and Taylor.
They are completely in love and
it is so wonderful to watch.

I love this family!  They are like
family to me and it was such an
honor to be with them for such
an important day.

Chloe asked me to read Bible verse
for her wedding and I was
blessed to do it.  I read from
1 Corinthians 13 about LOVE.

Here wedding was perfect!
Every part of it.  It was intimate, by the
lake on a beautiful day.  The
decorations were simple yet
stunning.

The rest of the weekend was
a blast! We went out on the boat,
played horseshoes, sat by the fire,
jumped off the dock, and I
even went out waterskiing.
Upstate New York is beautiful!
And Chloe has started her
wonderful marriage!!

Shipwrecked; Vacation Bible School 2013

Every summer our church hosts VBS
and they go ALL out!  My boys
had to miss it last summer because
we were in Florida, so they were
excited to go this year.

What boy wouldn't love a pirate theme??

They were into the message.

This was the jail- of course
Luke was in there :)

It was fun for them to be
at VBS with friends.

Drew and Luke had a great time.
I am thankful for our church!
