Look who turned. . .

 Tommy did!

We celebrated first with the
kids carrying some pancakes
and orange juice to him to
give him breakfast in bed.

Then the boys each gave him
homemade cards that they
made.

Around lunchtime, we
surprised Tommy with
a Beach Cruiser.  Now he
has something to ride to
join us on family bike rides.
And we are going to have
to take some bike rides
at the beach!
 For dinner, we went to
Benihana's.  It was the first
time for the boys and they
loved it!  Now Jake wants
his birthday dinner to be
there.
 Tommy and I had some
rolls, and we all loved the
chicken, steak, shrimp,
and fried rice.  Tommy and
the boys finished it off
with some ice cream.
 At home we celebrated one
last time with a birthday cake
from Baskin Robins.  It was
a perfect ending to a celebration
of Tommy's
Tomorrow I head to Kentucky
to cover college softball for
ESPN3 this week at Regionals.
The four teams I am covering
are Marshall, Notre Dame,
Virginia Tech, and Kentucky.
It will be a great regional to
cover.  It will be nice to practice
for Super Regionals next week
on the ESPN networks!
