Tee-Ball Lessons

Drew's 1st year of Baseball taught him a lot.

He made a bunch of new friends. . .

He learned about teamwork. . .

He learned offense and defense. . .

He learned to run the bases and (finally) how
to sprint (as opposed to the homerun trot to
each base). . .

He learned that we work hard in baseball and
most importantly: WE HAVE FUN!

He made his mom and dad very proud and wore my #20
which melts my heart!!!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband!

Tommy-

You are a great dad and your boys LOVE you so much!

I am so thankful for you!

&

I hope ALL your Birthday wishes come true!

I want to celebrate many more with you!

Happy Birthday Honey!

One Week from Tomorrow. . .

is a Jr. High and High School Girls Event

Heart of a Princess

For Girls

By Girls

This event is all about their ideas, their
topics they want to hear about and even
their schedule (two nights in a row)

They came up with the graphics

And I think they did an amazing job!

OK, so it was a boy who did the graphics,
but he's in college and we found him thanks
to Karissa who is helping run this event.

We will have amazing worship:
Natalya Radford-Roa
Mariah Langford
Priscilla Miller

Speakers:
Tina West
Alisa, Zsanae and Me

Interviews with different topics including:
teenage pregnancy, real beauty, choices, and more!

I will have to write more about this event later, but let
me just say that this entire event has fallen into
place in just 2 months! It is a GOD-thing completely!

There have been so many doors opened which reminds me
that we are right in the middle of His perfect will!

One huge blessing has been the support of my church,
Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and our pastor, Jack Hibbs.
They are doing everything they can to get the word out
and get girls to this event and I am so grateful.

Ontario Christian High School is allowing us to use
their awesome facilities and we are so thankful for
them as well.

Just the other day I stopped by Calvary Chapel Chino
Valley to talk to the HS Youth Pastor and found out
that we went to High School together and know a lot
of the same people. As I'm talking to him, out
walks Randy Walls, Pastor of Calvary Chapel Upland.
Randy is the father-in-law of a good friend of mine
and I know him, so I was able to hand him some flyers
to hand out.

Some people may say it's just a coincidence, but I
know that it's God's perfect timing to cross the
paths of people!

We have received donations from Stater Bros. (water)
and also have been so blessed to receive copies from
a friend who offered it! I am amazed at all these open
doors! God is so good- I CANNOT wait to see what He
is going to do next week at this event!

It's going to be BIG!!!!

And God gets ALL the GLORY!!!!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all you Mommies out there!
No matter if your kids are big or small, you
are making and have made a difference in the lives
of your children that nobody else can compare to.

I know at times I already have regrets about how
I yelled at my boys, or said things I shouldn't
have and as I was reminded at church, all of that
is laid at the foot of the cross and Jesus covers
all of my mistakes. I will press on in this job
of motherhood. The job that is the hardest yet
the most rewarding, the one that pays nothing
monetary yet earns eternal gains that far outweigh
anything else. I strive to raise my kids with
the truth of God's word and believe that "when
they are old, they will not depart from it."
I pray that they can see God's love through me.
I was able to see that through my mom and she
is my hero!

I am so very thankful for my mom.

She is beautiful on the inside and out! She loves
God and loves others. She was the one who cheered
me on through all my successes and was there for
me through my trials. I am blessed because of my
mom! Thank you mom- I love you with all my heart.

Through marriage I have another mom!

I am so thankful for her as well and wish we lived in
the same city! Even though she is across the
country in Boston, she is near in my heart.
I am thankful for the mom that she is. She
is the one who raised my husband and I am blessed
because of her! Mom, you raised 4 boys and
they love you so much. I hope to do the same
with my boys! Love you!!!

Meet Mr. Messy

HI, My name is Mr. Messy.

It all started when I went shopping with
my mom and brothers. . .

and my brother, Drew, wanted to try clothes on

Drew loves clothes! He is a good shopper.

My mom found me the Mr. Messy Shirt- and
there is a reason this shirt was PERFECT
for ME.

I spill A LOT

Sometimes I spill my drinks and smoothie
gets ALL OVER the floor

and MY FACE. I was so sad when I did this!

I also spill my cereal A LOT and A LOT of my
cereal!

Sometimes I just like to play and be messy

Sometimes my mom and dad wonder how I can get
food on my back when it's supposed to go in
my mouth

But as long as there is a little bit left, I'll
just keep eating it

Messy is my middle name

Sometimes I spill right when I wake up in the
morning

and make a big mess for my mom to clean up.

And then there are times when I get angry and
make a mess!

Either way, I wear this shirt with pride!

I AM MR. MESSY

Mirror Scriptures

I am all about hearing ideas from others and putting
them into action when I like those ideas. This past
weekend at the Shoreline Women's Retreat in our group
discussion we were talking about ways to worship in
different ways and one of the worship leaders for the
weekend told us that she takes dry-erase markers and
puts up scriptures on her mirrors in her bedroom.

I've heard of people using Post-it notes but this
new idea is what I will definitely
be using in my house! I like to go overboard
so my room has 2 on our main mirror, one on
each side of my closet mirrors and even one
on the outside of our glass shower. Jake keeps
reading them out loud and I'm actually starting to
memorize them.

Even this morning, Tommy came out of our downstairs
bathroom and said, "That's a good one honey". See,
it is a good idea- we are all being encouraged.

This is the verse on that mirror.

I told you I go overboard, so if you come to my
house, don't be surprised if you see scripture
written all over my mirrors!

Sports World Ministries

I am proud to announce that I will be working
with Sports World Ministries. I LOVE the motto
of this ministry:

You're not born a Winner,

You're not born a Loser,

You're Born a CHOOSER!

SportsWorld is a ministry that sends Pro
Athletes (and now Olympic Gold Medalists)
into High Schools across the country to speak
to students about making smart choices.
The awesome thing about Sports World is that
the athletes are able to share the fact that
Jesus came into our lives and transformed us!

Anything that takes my two passions:

Jesus & Sports

Is the best opportunity I could ask for!

Thank you Sports World for allowing me to be
a part of your team!

Shoreline Retreat pictures

This weekend we spoke at Shoreline Women's Spring
Retreat. We were so grateful for the opportunity
to speak to these women about "Growing Deeper".

We were able to take some pictures of the event.
Sorry if anybody was left out! We tried to get
pictures of all of these "new friends!"

We were so happy that two of our friends who
cover us in prayer, Karin and Kristi, could
be there with us.

Dawnielle was the MC for the event and we loved
her spirit! You could see how much she loves
Jesus and was the perfect MC.

Alisa started off the Retreat on Friday night and
spoke about "Preparing the Soil". She spoke about
engaging Jesus and cleaning out things that get in
the way of your relationship with our Loving God.

Mariah played some special music for the event.

Mariah spoke Saturday morning about "Protecting your
Garden" from the pests that can slowly creep in.
The two main areas of attack in our spiritual lives
are our enemy, Satan, and also our flesh. We need
to take up our weapon: the sword of the Spirit, which
is the Word of God and protect our hearts.

Zsanae spoke on "Nutrients needed for Growth" and
talked all about who God is and knowing His truth.
We first need to surrender, and know God's Word
so we can plant new seeds of truth. We need to
learn the names of God and have intimate prayer
lives. When we do that, we will realize that
we serve a BIG God and anything is possible with
Him!

Leah spoke on "Flourishing in the Garden" God's ways.
We can only flourish when we abide in Christ- stay
connected and close to Him. If we prepare the soil,
protect our hearts from the enemies, get news seeds
of truth as our nutrients, the result will be flourishing
for God. He created us to thrive and flourish!

We had awesome worship from with this worship
team pictured below.

We had lunch and dinner in this tent outside. The
food was delicios.

They had some skits that related to each topic
that were very funny. We are bummed we didn't
get any pictures of that.

We had great fellowship as we met new people.

It was a beautiful day in San Clemente and for
some group discussions we went outside to enjoy
the great weather.

We had the opportunity to be prayed over
by the intercessory prayer team at Heritage Church.
We were so blessed by that opporutnity along
with many of the women attending this retreat.

We saw the body of Christ working together as Heritage
Church allowed Shoreline to have this event in their
facility.

We were able to take communion together and come
before the Lord for cleansing and renewing.

We were able to listen to women share what God had
spoken to them during this retreat. This is one of
our favorite parts- to hear how God moves!

Even though we came to speak, we were ministered
to by the Lord. That will always happen to anyone
who is seeking the Lord.

We praised God together as we lifted our voices up
in worship.

A HUGE Thank You to the TEAM who put this event
together. All of us agree that this is one of
the best we've been to (speaking or attending).
We are sisters in the Lord and He received the
glory due to Him throughout this event.

Let's continue to grow deeper in Christ!
